Grecotel Eva Palace Review: Corfu's Views And Hospitality
My honest review of Grecotel Eva Palace in Corfu: exceptional views, standout hospitality and why it's the perfect hotel for celebrating something special.

My experience of staying at Grecotel Eva Palace in Corfu, Greece:
Received the best hospitality at this beautiful hotel on a family trip for a birthday celebration in May 2026. Guest experience was exceptional and staff were incredibly attentive, professional and genuinely seemed to take pride in their work. Our entire stay felt warm and welcoming, a befitting hotel to book for special celebrations.
First impressions:
Eva Palace features beautiful classic decor with a contemporary style that manages to give off an elegant luxury vibe. The hotel felt elegant from the moment we arrived.
Upon arrival we were taken to Serenissima Bellini-Bar, the hotel's cocktail lounge on the third floor with a balcony of unobstructed panoramic views of the Ionian Sea and the beautiful landscape of the Kommeno Peninsula.
We were advised to download the Grecotel App to make our stay easier, given Wi-Fi details, welcome drinks and sweets whilst we took in the beautiful views. Once we were finished with our drinks, we were given a guided tour from the bar's balcony whereby we could see many of the hotel's facilities:

Our room:
We were on the second floor of the main building, close to reception, the lobby and the main restaurant where all buffet meals are served — meaning we were only ever a short walk away from anything we needed.
We booked the Double Guest room Side Sea View (room 242) and I can confirm the photos online are accurate: it's beautifully decorated though the real highlight is the view from the balcony, where we enjoyed our complimentary champagne!

Food and drink:
We stayed on a half-board basis which suited us well as we wanted the flexibility to explore Corfu during the day. Half-board guests also receive a dining credit of €20 per adult at participating a la carte restaurants, including those at the neighbouring sister hotel, Grecotel LUXME Daphnila Bay.
Guests are spoilt for choice with the range of dining options available at both properties, and it's a great excuse to explore more of the exclusive Kommeno Peninsula during your stay. We didn't visit Daphnila Bay nor have the chance to eat at Sticks and Sushi (it wasn't open during our stay) — but here's where we did eat:
La Contessa - an a la carte Italian dining option for lunch or dinner. We chose to dine here for the celebratory birthday lunch. We were sat at a beautiful table by the terrace. Service was impeccable, and lunch ended with a surprise birthday cake, which was definitely the highlight of the experience, only second to the views:

Mediterraneo Restaurant - where the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets serve international and Mediterranean cuisine. There's a daily pancake and omelette station at breakfast as well as staple cookies and cakes. Dinner always had a meat, fish or vegetarian option available alongside a salad bar and dessert section; though the options were repetitive, their coconut ravani and Basque cheesecake were a welcome change. Bottled water is charged at €5, even though it's the same bottle that is replenished free of charge in the rooms each day.
Serenissima Bellini-Bar - where we enjoyed evening drinks after dinner, conveniently just a floor above our room. A lovely lounge with live evening music, and a great spot to unwind.
Il Melograno (Pool Bar) - right by the pool, where the atmosphere is relaxed and you're able to have a drink whilst you chill by the pool loungers or from the seating area, where you can enjoy the sunset.
The Stone (Beach Bar) - down the steps near the beach. We sipped cocktails by the sea in a quiet spot whereby music played softly in the background and we spent an afternoon soaking up the sun, over a few games of cards. There are a few secluded adult-only spots by the beach, which is a nice touch for a hotel that otherwise welcomes families.
Facilities:
Eva Palace has plenty on offer to suit every guest during their stay at a 5-star luxury resort, including:
Elixir Spa (includes a sauna, massage and treatment rooms and a beauty salon)
Gym and fitness room
Two outdoor seawater pools
Mini supermarket available by the pool area
Grecoland kids club suitable for children aged 4-12 years old
GrecoBaby service providing pre-booked amenities for infants and toddlers aged 0–3 years
Motorized and non-motorized water sports activities
Excursions and scuba diving bookings
The hotel offers a complimentary return shuttle service to Corfu Town, with enough time in between to shop and explore the town before heading back to the hotel.

Who it's perfect for (and who it isn't)
Grecotel Eva Palace is a 5-star beach luxe resort in the exclusive Kommeno Peninsula in the eastern coast of Corfu. It's a quiet, sophisticated retreat with gorgeous panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, perfect for a romantic getaway or celebrating an occasion in style.
Although Eva Palace offers brilliant hospitality, views and dining options, it isn't the right fit for anyone with reduced mobility. There are a lot of steps around the property to access the pool with further steeper steps to the private beach, so I wouldn't recommend it for guests with mobility issues.

Final thoughts
I loved that, for all its classic decor, Eva Palace felt genuinely modern where it counted. The app made everything from booking the shuttle to browsing the hotel's facilities easy. Though it's certainly not essential for a great stay, it's a great bonus.
I chose this hotel to celebrate my mum's birthday because of everything Eva Palace offered: the charm and the constant sense of being surrounded by nature and beautiful views, whether from our room, whilst dining or by the pool.
We were surrounded by beauty for the whole stay and constantly looked after by genuinely friendly staff. On our first night, we learned that 'Yamas' (Γειά μας) is Greek for 'cheers', the moment our first round of drinks arrived.
Communication was seamless. When I requested an iron via WhatsApp, it arrived within 15 minutes. Another time, I mentioned our water needed restocking, and it was done by the time we returned from breakfast. Small things, but they made the whole stay feel effortless and it's exactly that kind of thoughtfulness, along with the birthday touches, that makes me want to go back.
I could only fit a few photos of my stay here, but there are plenty more pictures over on my Instagram.
